Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Endemion, the developer of Liforae ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the game, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the game.
The Google Play Terms of Service also apply when you download the game from Google Play.
Eligibility and age
The game is intended only for players aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, do not install or use the game.
The game includes themes intended for an adult audience (see Disclaimers).
License to use the game
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the game on Android devices that you own or control, for non-commercial purposes. You receive a license, not ownership of the game.
User accounts
The game has no user accounts or registration.
User-generated content
The only text you enter is the character's first and last name. It stays on your device and is not visible to other people.
Do not use offensive words or other people's personal data in it.
Online and multiplayer features
The game has no online or multiplayer play, chat or leaderboards shared with other players. It works without an internet connection.
Prohibited activities
You must not:
- copy, sell, rent, distribute or publish the game or modified versions of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or modify the game, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- remove copyright notices or trademarks;
- use the game for commercial purposes without our written permission;
- use the game in a way that breaks the law.
Virtual currency and items
In-game money (euros) and the items bought with it are fictional. They cannot be bought with real money, cashed out or exchanged. They have no monetary value and are not your property.
In-app purchases
The current version of the game has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid content. If they are added, we will update these Terms before they become available.
Refunds
The game has no in-app purchases, so there is nothing to refund inside the game. If you paid for the game on Google Play, refunds follow Google Play's refund policies and the consumer law of your country.

Intellectual property
The game, its code, graphics, texts, sounds and other content, and the Endemion name and logo belong to Endemion or are used under license. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
The game is built with Godot Engine (MIT license); the engine does not send data.
Service availability
The game runs on your device without an internet connection. We may stop distributing the game or remove it from Google Play at any time. An installed copy may keep working, but we do not guarantee that it will work on every device or future version of Android.
Updates and modifications
We may release updates that change, add or remove features and content. Some updates may be needed for the game to keep working correctly. We try to keep your progress when updating, but cannot guarantee it in every case.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms; in that case, delete the game.
The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law remain in effect after termination.
Disclaimers
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will work without errors or interruptions on every device or browser.
Liforae is a fictional life simulation. Events, careers, illnesses, finances, laws and relationships in the game are simplified and are not medical, financial, legal or other advice.
The game depicts smoking, lotteries, debt and other risky choices as part of a fictional life and does not encourage them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data or game progress.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or takes away your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by [governing law]. Disputes are resolved by [courts or dispute resolution procedure].
If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The new version is published on this page with a new last-updated date. We will announce material changes in advance.
If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the game.
